Les Lycans (Canis Sapiens) sont une espèce omniprésente dans l'overworld, peuplant majoritairement Moonlight Falls ainsi que Revolution's Thunder.

Origines

Cette espèce trouve son origine au début de l’Ère IV dans la région de Moonlight Falls. On estime que cette espèce est née suite a la corruption lente des habitants de Moonlight Falls par l'influence du Nether.

Selon les légendes de l'époque, les premiers membres de cette espèce ont amorcé leur transformation dès bordel j'arrive plus à écrire en français. Vous savez quoi, je vais la faire en anglais parce que sinon je vais jamais avancer et j'irais traduire tout ça une fois fini.

Aspect physique

The original werewolves of Era IV were closer in appearance to wild wolves, only larger. With the help of wizards from MF, they slowly managed to evolve generation after generation to an hybrid form walking standing up.

"Modern" werewolves nowadays have stayed on this hybrid appearance.

• Specific points

-Fur color is designated by the hair color of the person. IE, a blond person in human form will end up with a more golden/orange fur.

-Height is around 2.36m for males and 2.19m for females

-Appearance is based on werewolves from Van Helsing, except this time they got a tail.

In human form, werewolves have distinct traits that can differentiate them from humans. Traits such as:

-Eye color can vary but most of the time will be more towards a golden color

-Slightly longer teeth, almost fang-like

-Enhanced reflexes

Transformation

During the medieval era and the first hundred years that werewolves existed, transforming was mostly limited to full moons. According to the documents left from the time, one of the wizards of Moonlight Falls theorized this could be due to the Nether Portal using the moon as an energy source.

The first villagers experiencing these transformations seemingly lost all reason and started to harm others. (seriously trying my best here)

Wizards from MF worked for many months to be able to come up with a solution to control these transformations as they knew it was too late to stop anything now and that the whole village has been cursed.

Through times and nowadays, werewolves managed to evolve and control themselves enough to be able to transform anytime.
